LBD, Welcome to Sanditon, Emma Approved ask box open.

Hey everyone,

With Emma Approved cranking up and Welcome to Sanditon ending, I’m  collecting questions to answer in a tumblr post this week.

Feel free to ask about LBD, Sanditon, or Emma Approved.

Don’t ask the following because they’re already in my ask box.

  1. When does Emma Approved start?
  2. When will we get the LBD DVDs?
  3. Which version of Sanditon did we base Welcome to Sanditon on?
  4. Why is it named Emma Approved?
  5. Will Emma Approved be in the same universe as LBD and WTS?
  6. Will *blank* from LBD or WTS appear in Emma Approved
  7. What did you learn from doing WTS?
  8. Have you cast any of the characters yet?

I probably won’t answer everything, but feel free to ask. Per my usual asks, the askers will be kept anonymous.

Ask away.

Back from Vidcon - The Lizzie Bennet Diaries and Emma Approved.

Holy moly was that an amazing experience. Wow. It was a personal roller coaster of emotion for me. I kept cycling through anxious, exuberance, stress, and relaxed. It was really weird and I don’t think I could go through that cycle for another day and stay sane.

Anyway, so those of you who got to come to the LBD panel, thank you. Aside from the near comical AV issues we were having, that panel was pretty much exactly what I hoped it would be. A celebration of The Lizzie Bennet Diaries, almost all questions from the fans, and finally the reveal.

Catching up on tumblr, it’s clear that a lot of you are SUPER excited about Emma Approved. Heck, I’m excited! But I’ll talk about that project a little later. For now, I’m gonna rest up and think of how proud I am of the LBD and Sanditon teams for the work they do, and how fun it was to hang and meet the fans.

I know we have many more fans than just the ones at Vidcon, but even just the few of you we meet in person means so much to us. It reminds us of the amount of support you ALL give, no matter where you are.

To the LBD and Sanditon teams, thanks for being such talented, and lovely people.

And to the fans, you’re the best. I don’t know if you’ll ever fully understand how much you make us better at what we do, but you truly do. We couldn’t do it without you.

-“She’s totally my co-pilot.”

Lizzie Bennet Diaries/Pacific Rim AU: After losing their parents in the first kaiju attack on San Francisco, William and Gigi Darcy invest all their inheritance into funding the Jaeger Project, later becoming one of the most successful and well-known co-pilot teams: Pemberley Domino. They’ve got action figures and everything.

When William meets and falls in love with fellow pilot Lizzie Bennet, however, they retire to the safe zone and Gigi is out a co-pilot and a job. Until, that is, she discovers a potential match in an unexpected person: Lizzie’s younger sister, Lydia, a promising rookie with something to prove and more in common with Gigi than either of them knows until they’re in the drift…

Just wanted to say how much I love the LBD/Pacific Rim mashups. I LOVE IT, that is all.

You know, trying to be a writer can sometimes suck. It’s hard. Every type of creative thing is. You find the things, the people, the moments that help you remember why you do what you want to do. Most of those, for me, are not on set, not in actual writing, definitely not in critiques and…
